Brooklyn Beckham has been criticized by a domestic violence charity this week, over a picture he uploaded to social media of him alongside his fiancé, Nicola Peltz.
The picture in question shows the son of renowned footballer David Beckham, smiling alongside his wife-to-be, with his hands upon her neck.

Per a recent report by news.com.au, Dianna Nammi, the founder of the philanthropic activist initiative KWRO Women’s Right’s Organisation, has lambasted the picture, stating that Brooklyn should delete the post and issue a formal apology.
Nammi said: "It is disgusting, and I think with serious matters no one should allow themselves to make a joke."
Nammi stated:
"This is very important, an organization like ours has seen so many women become victims of honor-based violence, domestic violence, forced marriage - and they have been strangled by their own family and they have been killed by husbands, partners or boyfriends."

She continued:
"So we are talking about real life, even if it’s a joke, it is disgusting in my opinion. I think it should be banned from Instagram this kind of picture. He is 21 so mature enough to know it is a very serious matter and I think he has to apologise openly and tell people that he made a huge mistake."

She added:
"We are talking about living people. It is not a doll to play with, so I think this is sending a very wrong message, a very dangerous message to young people especially. It is a really bad picture and he has to apologize to the public for such a dangerous message to the world and his followers."
