Cara Delevingne shocks fans with photo of herself nude from the waist down in new social media post
The latest star to grace the cover of Playboy magazine is one of the world’s most famous models who recently turned to acting and singing, but her high profile is not the most shocking part about the provocative pic.
The summer 2026 issue is fronted by a (literally) smoking hot picture of Cara Delevingne, 33, sporting the brand’s iconic black latex corset, holding a match up to light a cigarette and covering her nude genitals with the other.
While the magazine, which has been around since the 50s, this issue will be the first to feature a lesbian on the front cover.
The 2012 and 2014 Model of the Year has been open about her fluid sexuality since 2020 but recently told Spanish chart-topping singer Rosalia that she now identifies as a lesbian and “has a weakness for straight women.”
On social media, the erotic publication teased who the latest cover star would be, sharing a risque picture of a soapy torso covered in dainty but distinguishable tattoos.
In other pictures that feature in the magazine accompanying her interview with best-selling author Ottessa Moshfegh, Delevingne wears Playboy’s signature bunny ears and tail paired with a skimpy black torso.
The singer felt empowered because most people on the shoot were female
Speaking to Moshfegh, the singer, who has just released two singles, I Forgot and Out of My Head, said: "The iconography of it, the Bunny—it's fun to…take back ownership of it and turn it into something else.
“I've been naked before in shoots, in movies. But it always made me feel a bit gross when it was for someone else—of course, it was my choice and I agreed to it, but it never felt empowering.
“But today I had so much fun. I've never felt more comfortable in my body and in my sexuality."
The ease she felt stripping down on set was largely because she “worked with a predominantly female team [for the cover shoot] to feel agency over her body, appearing nude and embracing her image.”
Delevingne was photographed by Zoey Grossman and styled by Lana Jay Lackey, two well-loved female creatives.
Delevingne opened up about her addiction and sexuality
Playboy teased what the latest issue’s cover star revealed in the tell-all interview that accompanies the sexy snaps in a caption on Instagram.
The post read: Delevingne peels back the layers to get into her battle with addiction, the journey to sobriety, and redefining her own sexuality without the need for approval from others. "I used to put a higher value on sex and validation from people. I used to think, "Oh, I'm a pervert. I'm a really horny person." But I think [I was] seeking love and validation through sex."
