On Thursday (August 6), Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion unveiled the new music video for their first collaboration together, 'WAP'.

In that time, the video has already amassed over 49 million views on YouTube, with many of the "eye-popping" visuals delighting fans of the rappers.

However, one element of the video has left a bad taste in the mouths of some of Cardi B's fans; Kylie Jenner.

Check out Kylie the stunning video below:

Yes, the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters makes a surprise appearance one minute and 40 seconds into the video. However,  her brief cameo has offended some viewers, with many taking to social media to voice their annoyance.

Now, posting memes on Twitter is one thing, but one person even went as far as to start a Change.org petition to have the 22-year-old beauty mogul removed from the music video.

Titled "Remove Kylie Jenner from WAP video", the description for the petition simply reads: "The video was perfect until we saw K and I wanted to throw my phone."

And, as of this writing, 58,000+ people have signed the petition.

Other cameos in the video include Normani, Rosalia, Rubi Rose, Sukihana, and Mulatto. So why is Kylie getting so much hate?

Well, as you may know, the Kardashian/Jenner clan have previously been called out for cultural appropriation - from hairstyles to fashion choices - and many people viewed the 'WAP' track and video as a celebration of black women.

One Twitter user even wrote: "The music video was meant to represent black beauty and black women yet the music video begins with a white woman..... let that sink in #KylieJenner".

However, Cardi has since taken to social media thank "every woman" that appeared in the 'WAP' video, writing:

"I wanna say thank you to every woman that was [a part] of my video! The fact that you made time in your schedules means [a lot] to me!

"It was so important to me to include different women, that are different races and come from different backgrounds but are so powerful and influential."

Kylie has also [somewhat] broken her silence on her controversial appearance in the video.

Sharing a series of pictures and behind-the-scenes videos from the shoot with her 189 million followers, Jenner simply captioned the post "#WAP".
