Following the release of her number one single, 'WAP', with Meghan Thee Stallion, Cardi B is now launching an OnlyFans account.

Over the past week, Cardi B - whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar - has been teasing a partnership with OnlyFans. On Twitter, she said that she would use the subscription-based platform to share behind-the-scenes content, and address any rumors about her.

In a now-deleted tweet, Cardi said: "Everytime some1 start a rumor I will be addressing it there. What else should I post besides rumors and behind the scenes? Maybe a video of me cleaning my home with my nails? [sic]"

Now, the rapper has officially unveiled her new account.

Per Dazed, a press release confirms that the mother-of-one's account will be used to "release behind-the-scenes content, address ongoing rumors, share glimpses into her personal life, connect closer with her fans," and more.

OnlyFans is a subscription-based service, which was launched back in 2016, to allow people to sell content on their own terms for a fee. While the platform has come to be associated with sex workers, everyone from chefs and musicians are able to share their artistry on the platform.

This comes after Cardi hit back at conservative pundit, Ben Shapiro after he criticized WAP's "vulgar" lyrics.

Shapiro, who is the co-founder of the conservative opinion website, The Daily Wire, took to his podcast to recite lyrics from the song. He then explained that "WAP" means "Wet a** p-word, p-word is female genitalia. And it gets significantly, significantly more vulgar, like a lot more vulgar".

"This is what feminists fought for," the 36-year-old continued. "This is what the feminist movement was all about, and if you say anything differently it’s ’cause you’re a misogynist, see?"

"It gets really really really vulgar," he added.

After clips from his podcast began making the rounds on social media, and attracting ridicule, Shapiro took to Twitter to write:

"Listen, guys. I fully explained on the show that it’s misogynistic to question whether graphic descriptions of 'wet-a** p****' is empowering for women. 'WAP' is obviously an incredibly profound statement of women’s empowerment, a la Susan B. Anthony.

"As I also discussed on the show, my only real concern is that the women involved — who apparently require a 'bucket and a mop' — get the medical care they require. My doctor wife’s differential diagnosis: bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection, or trichomonis."

Cardi has now acknowledged Shapiro's sentiments in the best possible way.

The rapper shared a number of tweets mocking Shapiro. She retweeted an image of The Simpsons character, Waylon Smithers, covering his eyes and half-naked women dance in front of him.

She also tweeted, "I can’t believe conservatives soo mad about WAP."
