Casey Affleck has taken to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to the new Mrs. Affleck, after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez had their second wedding over the weekend.
Despite not being able to attend the wedding, the youngest Affleck brother shared a throwback image of him alongside J-Lo and her hubby from when they first dated in the early 00s.
Posting the image to his 45,000 followers, the Academy Award winner captioned the image: "Good things are worth waiting for."
He continued: "Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love. Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding."
"Jen, you are a gem. We love you so much!!! [heart emoji]," Affleck finished off the post.
Jennifer Lopez, 53, and Ben Affleck, 50, spent the weekend in Georgia celebrating their second wedding, after being married less than two months ago in Las Vegas. ET reported that the wedding was a star-studded affair, being officiated by life and purpose coach, Jay Shetty, and attended by multiple celebrities including Matt Damon and Kevin Smith.
The wedding began on Friday and lasted all weekend, with the celebrations being held at Ben Affleck's riverside estate in Riceboro, Georgia.
The 'Jenny From The Block' singer was said to have worn a stunning custom Ralph Lauren white wedding gown, complete with flutter sleeves, an open back, and tiered rouging throughout the train and skirt. The couple's five combined children (including Affleck's three children Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, and Lopez's twins Max and Emme) helped carry Lopez's 20-foot train down the aisle.
The celebrity couple's nuptials concluded with a stunning fireworks display on Saturday, followed by a Sunday barbecue with the newlyweds' closest family and friends.
Their last engagement ended in 2004, with the duo citing intense media coverage as a reason for their split, Today reported.
Eighteen years later and the couple was finally able to walk down the aisle in Las Vegas.
Speaking about her Vegas wedding, Lopez wrote in her newsletter, OnTheJLo: "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."
Well, after a weekend full of celebration, it seems the happy couple will be needing a well-deserved rest this week! Congratulations (again) to the newlyweds!
