For those who haven't heard of CeeLo Green in a while, don't worry, you're not alone.

Having been relatively quiet since the release of his last album in 2020, the 47-year-old musician sure knew how to make a headline-worthy comeback after he was filmed falling off a horse during a birthday party recently.

Unfortunately for Green - whose legal name is Thomas Callaway - this short clip swiftly went viral after it was posted to Twitter... and netizens' reactions are pretty priceless.

"Bruh [CeeLo Green's] big a** fell off the horse," one user wrote in a tweet with the clip.

"Cee Lo still got some athletic abilities the way he hit the tumble roll properly. Check the form it was on point," someone commented.

"Did my dude just fall and roll into a dance," a further user remarked, as Green was seen rolling on the ground before standing up and raising his hands as if to say: "I'm alright, folks!"

"Almost the same energy to this," another person added, including a short video of fellow musician Rick Ross staring creepily into the camera while attempting to get on the back of a camel.

Many cheeky tweets referenced Green's most famous song 'F**k You' where he sings the line: "I see you driving 'round town with the girl I love and I'm like, f**k you." One person tweeted: "The horse must have seen cee-lo riding around town with a girl horse that he loved."

That song is the track that really brought Green to the forefront of mainstream music, having previously received commercial success as one half of the soul duo Gnarls Barkley. That group spawned 2006's 'Crazy', a song that topped the charts in numerous countries, including the UK, Canada, and New Zealand. In 2007, it even won a Grammy for Best Urban/Alternative Performance, per Grammy.com.

In 2010, Green spoke to The Guardian about his career in the industry, telling the outlet that Bruno Mars had helped him with 'F**k You'. "I was working with Bruno Mars and his team and when I got down there one day, they had an idea for a song with "f**k you" as the chorus," he said. "And then we started tossing out other ideas, working out how to fill in the gaps and create a storyline.

"It's not autobiographical, but there were quite a few things I was ready to rant about. I thought I was being a bit silly, but a friend of mine said: 'Wait, you'll see, everyone can relate to this song,'" the father-of-one added.

Green admitted that his record company recommended he make a clean version too, called 'Forget You'. "They were in on the joke the entire time," he revealed, adding: "But they said: 'Let's have this alternative version, just in case.'"
