Channing Tatum responds to claims he set up a secret burner account to troll exes Zoë Kravitz and Jenna Dewan
Channing Tatum has spoken out after he was accused of secretly running an Instagram burner account that appeared to target his exes, Zoë Kravitz and Jenna Dewan.
The speculation began after an account using the name "Nonya Bidness" started appearing in the comments sections of posts connected to both women.
Things escalated when viewers noticed that the account appeared to have just one follower: Tatum himself.
This led many to believe that the 46-year-old Magic Mike star could be behind the profile, but he has now dismissed the theory.
Tatum denies running the mystery account
The actor hit back at the claims on his Instagram Stories, writing: "Yo I truly can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time, while calling the situation "F***in’ hilarious."
He continued: "Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it? Wtf come on."
Tatum then made it clear that he only uses one Instagram profile.
"If I really need to say it, I only have one IG account @channingtatum," he declared.
According to Metro, Tatum later unfollowed the account before the profile disappeared completely.
Account made comments about Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles
The profile attracted attention after making repeated comments about Kravitz, including comments about her recent engagement to Harry Styles.
One comment read: "Just here for the hate," alongside laughing and popcorn emojis.
Another previous comment from the account stated: "When I see these two I think back at how her former fiancé called her the most intentional person he knows. I wonder how contextual he was being. To me intentional = calculated. He was speaking in terms of film-making but leaning towards her as a person in general too."
"Now she is constantly spotted with Harry compared to the ex who we heard about long before they were seen together. And when they were seen together it was far less frequent," the comment read.
Tatum began dating Kravitz in 2021 before the pair split and called off their engagement in October 2024.
Jenna Dewan was also mentioned
The account also appeared to defend Tatum while taking aim at his ex-wife Jenna Dewan.
One comment claimed: "His ex-wife tried to grift his money. Zoe knew she was too much of a free bird to settle down… Let that man sow his wild oats in peace."
Tatum and Dewan began dating before marrying in 2009. They announced their separation in 2018, with their divorce finalized in 2024.
Mystery account also targeted other celebrities
Kravitz and Dewan were not the only famous names mentioned by Nonya Bidness.
Other screenshots shared online showed the account calling Jennifer Lopez "desperate," commenting on Jennifer Lawrence’s Instagram debut, and criticizing Taylor Swift's album The Life of a Showgirl.
"God help us all," the account wrote about Swift, who is a friend of Kravitz’s and invited the actress to attend her wedding to Travis Kelce in July.
However, not every comment was negative as the account praised actress Ayo Edebiri for her voice role in Inside Out 2, writing: "Love her! And she’s just getting started!"
The profile also appeared unusually complimentary toward Tatum himself.
Nonya Bidness was spotted commenting on a Channing Tatum fan page, where it described the actor as "so genuine," adding: "No false pretences with this guy. And funny as hell, too."
