Charlize Theron says there's one thing she no longer wants to do after having 'f****** amazing' sex with a 26-year-old
Charlize Theron has spoken unreservedly about what she does and doesn’t want to do in the future following an unlikely romp with a 26-year-old.
While we have become accustomed to watching Hollywood heartthrob Theron getting intimate on-screen, her personal relations have always been left to the imagination… until now.
Theron opens up about 'amazing sex' with a younger man
Theron, 50, appeared on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast last year to promote her new film The Old Guard 2, with the revered actor revealing how she had recently canoodled with a man 24 years her junior.
"I almost choked. I am the last person to ask," Theron said, when Cooper, 30, asked her for her best sex tip, after a prolonged conversation about her approach to dating these days.
"I'm sounding very cocky here, but I think it's because I found this freedom in my forties, where I'm like, 'Oh my god,' so I just want to say this in perspective. I've probably had three one night stands in my entire life, but I did just recently f*** a 26-year-old and it was really f****** amazing and I've never done that and I was like, 'Oh, this is great okay.' "
"Let me just say that 26-year-old is the luckiest f****** man walking on this god damn planet," Cooper responded. "He's walking different today knowing."
"He is for sure is not, but thank you," Theron added.
Theron, who is enjoying a career renaissance, having appeared in a series of box office flops in recent years, is the mother of two daughters, Jackson and August, but has been publicly single for over a decade, having last dated fellow actor Sean Penn, before the couple parted ways in 2015.
Theron also established that while one-night rendezvous are a rarity for her, she is happy to have them.
"I sound like I'm sitting here sounding like I do. So when I do, I'm like, 'Oh, f*** yeah, I should have done this in my 20s,' " Theron said of casual sex.
She continued: "I was married from the time that I was, like, having sex to the time that I had my last relationship. Then I had children. Who has f****** time for dates and shaving and waxing and makeup? And, like, I've got two children that have to go to school."
While Theron did not share any more information concerning her recent 26-year-old date, she expressed a desire for women to prioritize their own pleasure in bed more frequently. "I think this is kind of like a thread throughout our conversation," she said.
"Women who come across as confident, women who come across as outspoken, ones that wouldn't speak up for themselves tend to also be in bed, people who want to please males. Like, and I have found this in my experiences with talking to other women about this. Isn't it strange? We should be the ones that are like, 'F*** you. I'm gonna have an orgasm,'" she added.
The actor discusses another surprising detail about her love life
Away from her sex life, it was another topic of conversation that had people shocked.
In a separate discussion with Drew Barrymore, Theron stated: "I really mean this—people think I joke—I don’t think I could ever live with somebody again. I’m not sure I can.”
"I would love for [a partner] to be close," she continued. "Like, buy the house down the street."
While she has not completely ruled out the possibility of living with a significant other, she maintained that he daughters and family will always take precedence over a romantic connection.
“Maybe it's because I still have my daughters in the house, and maybe that will change when I'm an empty nester, but I'm looking for something very specific,” she said.
