Cher says she "hates" aging and that she would "do anything to be 70 again" as she shares her thoughts that her hit single 'Believe' is approaching a huge milestone.

In an exclusive Today interview, iconic Grammy-winning singer Cher shared her thoughts on the 25th anniversary of her 1998 smash hit 'Believe'.

However, instead of celebrating the milestone, the legendary artist expressed her dissatisfaction, stating: "It's not that amazing. It p***es the f*** out of me."

At 77 years old, the Burlesque actress, who celebrated her birthday in May, didn't hold back when asked if she and aging are friends. With a resounding "No!" she made it clear that growing older isn't a concept she embraces.

While her late mother, actress Georgia Holt, "didn't mind" aging and lived to the impressive age of 96, Cher admitted to having a completely different perspective. "I'd give anything to be 70 again," she confessed with a smile during the interview.

This isn't the first time Cher has addressed the topic of aging. In a previous interview with Good Morning Britain in September, the superstar shared her determination to maintain her style as she ages.

"I just can't believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish," she said. "And I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair and I will still be doing the same stuff I've always done."

Last month, Cher shed light on her connection with her partner Alexander 'A.E.' Edwards, with whom she has a 40-year age gap.

Expressing her lack of surprise at the public's keen interest in their relationship, the singer admitted that even she hadn't anticipated falling for someone so much younger.

Speaking to People, Cher described A.E. as a "beautiful man" with diamond teeth, tattoos, and distinctive white hair, adding: "I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!"

Cher disclosed that she unexpectedly fell in love with A.E. through text, a method she had vowed not to entertain. The initial encounter happened at Paris Fashion Week about a year ago, lasting only "about 15 minutes".

Noting that a mutual friend gave A.E. her number, Cher said: "It was really shocking because people just don’t give out my number. I had been telling all my friends, 'We’re too old to go out with really younger men, and I will never fall in love on text.'"

Addressing skeptics who question the longevity of their relationship due to the age difference, Cher said: "No matter what happens, I love being with him. He makes me laugh, and we have fun."
