Last night, Saturday Night Live returned to our screens for the first time with a live studio audience - and the stars weren't afraid to take a shot at the week's biggest news story.
Taking to the stage for a stand-up monologue, comedian Chris Rock wasn't afraid to dive in head first when it came to addressing the hospitalization of Donald Trump following the president's positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

Rock started his routine by addressing the "elephant in the room", as he joked: "President Trump's in the hospital from COVID and I just want to say... my heart goes out to COVID."
After joking, "I know 200,000 Americans are dead, but I'm not seeing Rage Against The Machine this year", Rock then addressed how the US people need to "readdress" their relationship with the government.
"I mean, what job do you have for four years no matter what?” he asked the reduce live audience of first responders.
"Like if you hired a cook and he was making people vomit every day, do you sit there and go, 'Well, he’s got a four-year deal. We’ve just got to vomit for four more years.'"

Rock then stated that "to be the president of the United States, all you have to be is 35 and from the United States," and stressed that if anyone can be president, then anyone can be president.
He then said that there are more rules to game shows than to being the president - and even joked that Trump left a gameshow to run for president.
Turning his attention back to the POTUS, Rock joked: "One thing we can say about Trump - he's got the most energy of any 75-year-old person on the face of the Earth. Even Mick Jagger is like, 'Slow down, Donald!'"
Addressing the upcoming election day, Rock said: "The government does not want you to vote. Why do I know they don’t want you to vote? Because Election Day’s a Tuesday in November."
He then quipped: "If this show was 'Tuesday Night Live' it would have got canceled in 1975."
But getting serious, Rock told people to take "everything that is going on" seriously.
"We can lick this, okay? We can beat this if we all work together," he said.
Rock then concluded his monologue with a quote from writer James Baldwin: "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it’s faced."
