If you haven't heard yet, last night was the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, and boy did those celebs clean up well that red carpet. But, before you jump to assumptions, award shows like this aren't all about glamour and champagne. In fact, sitting in the audience at the Emmy's also goes hand-in-hand with a fair amount of boredom, hunger and sheer awkwardness.
Case in point: Chrissy Teigen's reaction last night when co-hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost decided to joke about shamed actress Roseanne Barr. "Congratulations to Laurie Metcalf," said Che. "I mean, wow. That’s incredible. You know how great an actress you have to be to get nominated for Roseanne now? That’s like nominating a cop for a BET Award." His comments made the 32-year-old model so uncomfortable that she shrunk all the way down in her seat, unintentionally becoming the internet's favourite new meme. What else could you really expect from a lady as hilarious as Chrissy, eh?
