Meeting a celebrity normally follows a procedure that goes something like the following: you spot them across the restaurant, your eyes get wider, you blink, you blush bright red, not quite sure if what you're seeing is real. Finally, you pluck up the courage to go talk to them and ask for a picture of an autograph, trying your absolute best to remember how to speak and not get a restraining order while you're at it.

That's how it often goes for the (semi)bolshy fans who know what they're doing. However, there any many more who are less daring, who prefer to hide behind their cameras, sneaking a cunning snap from across the restaurant. That was until Cole Sprouse came on the scene, anyway. Since August 2012, the Riverdale star has been running an Instagram page dedicated to calling out fans who try to take pictures of him on the sly - and predictably, it's hilarious. The lesson we all learn from following it? Don't duel with Cole. You won't win.

"Eyes and ears people, #cameraduelscan strike anytime and anywhere, even in high security lanes"

"My father once told me that the key to great driving was ensuring the safety of myself and my passengers. Now, behold the fatherless fanatics"

"Don't tap on the glass, it scares the f**kbois"

"I shot first. She looked at me and whimpered, 'a-am I gunna end up on your instagram?'"

"Trying to be sneaky, she made the number 1 rookie mistake, #Flash. My poor, helpless, innocent, virgin brother was caught in the middle of our duel"

"They tried, they lost. Look at their sad German expressions"

"She would have likely gotten away clean if the combined radiation from her phone and the microwave hadn't crisped my eyebrows and alerted me to the process"

"An advanced technique betrayed by an amateur mistake"

"This kid just didn't even care"

"She spotted me, I spotted her, and we both shot each other on the move. Quick and painless"

"After she had finished, she looked at me vacantly, turned her nose upward so I could see her mucus, and grunted in a phacochoerus fashion"

There's more where that came from! In fact, just the other day, Cole Sprouse caught a fan googling him and hilariously called her out on Instagram.
