Comedian and content creator Druski has once again set social media ablaze with a new skit — but this one has divided opinion more than most.

The 30-year-old entertainer, real name Drew (or Andrew) Desbordes, is known for his viral Instagram Live antics, meme-worthy characters, and high-energy appearances at celebrity sports events.

But his latest performance, filmed at a NASCAR race, has triggered a heated debate.

In the video, Druski transformed himself into what he called “That Guy who is just Proud to be AMERICAN,” disguising himself in full “whiteface” as a Southern patriot.

The elaborate look included heavy white makeup, fake sunburn lines, a mullet wig, tattoos of American flags, denim overalls, and even an American flag cowboy hat.

Singing Springsteen and blending in with fans

Druski’s character went all-in on the persona.

He was filmed singing Bruce Springsteen’s 'Born in the U.S.A.' from his car, clinking beers with fellow racegoers, and sharing a cigarette with a woman he introduced as his “wife.”

At one point, he even posed with a “fake family,” hugging them before heading to the stands.

He was also shown emotionally standing for the national anthem and cheering for the drivers — all while keeping up the disguise.

Many fans online admitted they couldn’t believe it was actually him.

One viewer wrote: “Give his makeup team a raise. Holy s***.”

Another added: “That make up is something else.”

A third compared it to Robert Downey Jr.’s controversial role in Tropic Thunder: “This is some of the best makeup I’ve ever seen honestly lol, this is higher quality than RDJ in Tropic Thunder.

"I wonder how much this cost.”

Others echoed the praise, saying: “Whoever did the makeup, God bless you” and “The way the makeup artist ate on this look is Critical Fire. They got the sunburn and everything!”

Spitting scenes fuel accusations of racism

The skit took a turn during scenes where Druski’s character encounters Black men at the event.

In one moment, he spits on the ground in front of a man walking past.

Later, he stops his car when another Black man arrives, spitting twice before asking if “he’s lost.”

Some viewers saw the satire in poking fun at certain stereotypical fans, but others accused Druski of going too far with racially charged portrayals.

Criticism quickly spread across platforms, with some accusing him of “whitefacing” and mocking white culture while leaning into racist tropes.

Still, the video has racked up staggering numbers — more than 164 million views on X, plus millions more across Instagram and Reddit.

One Reddit user wrote: “I can’t believe this brother is almost pulling off this look lol. Usually that shit looks uncanny Valley AF.”

Another joked: “Holy f*** the makeup is INCREDIBLE.”

Druski responds with “Am I Cancelled?”

In typical fashion, Druski leaned into the controversy rather than backing away from it.

He posted a follow-up clip to Instagram, captioned: “AM I CANCELLED ?????” The video showed him strolling through a studio in a sharp suit, cigarette in hand, set to James Brown’s It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.
