Country music rising star Karley Scott Collins has publicly shut down speculation that she is living with Keith Urban, the newly‑divorced singer‑songwriter.
At 58, Urban — a four‑time Grammy winner — is 32 years older than Collins. The two previously worked together on their 2024 duet Write One, and she later joined him as an opener on his 2025 High and Alive World Tour, per the Daily Mail.
On Sunday, Collins took to her Instagram Story with a screengrab of an article claiming the pair were living together. Captioned with a cry‑laughing emoji, she wrote: “Y'all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue.”
Collins and Urban’s Onstage Moments Stir Buzz
Rumors swirling around Collins and Urban haven’t slowed their public moments together.
As recently as January 3, the Flight Risk singer shared a photo of herself hugging the Kiwi‑born Australian on stage.
In her caption, she thanked the artists who joined them on tour, writing she was grateful for “all the incredible artists who took the boys and I on the road with you.”
When Urban celebrated his birthday on October 26, Collins posted another heartfelt message, praising his character and their friendship. “Kind” and “so lucky to call you a friend” were her words of admiration for the country legend.
Grand Ole Opry Debut Courtesy of Urban
Collins’ big break into the esteemed country music institution — the Grand Ole Opry — came with a call from Urban himself. It was the Road producer and star who phoned to let her know she would be making her official debut at the iconic venue in 2024.
On January 11, Urban offered his first public reflections since his divorce from Nicole Kidman was finalized on January 6, capping 19 years of marriage.
Appearing on Dann Huff’s podcast, the Somebody Like You singer spoke candidly about his frame of mind.
He shared how his creative work has evolved, saying: “I'm in a different part of the journey. So there's a lot of poetry in my input right now. Lots. Yeah, poetry would be in my music right now. Not rhyming poetry, but more philosophical poetry that's really profound to me.”
Urban also described his approach to daily life in this new chapter: “That's where I'm at - simplifying. Simplifying is my journey this year.”
Custody Arrangement With Kidman
Under their post‑divorce custody arrangement, Urban will spend 59 days in 2026 with their daughters, Sunday, 17; and Faith, 15; while the 58‑year‑old Oscar winner is considered the “primary residential parent” with 306 days of custody.
Urban and Kidman — who had been living apart “since early summer” — were last photographed together at a FIFA Club World Cup match on June 20, near their seven‑bedroom Nashville mansion valued at $3.47 million.
The One Too Many singer had completed a three‑month rehab stint at the Betty Ford Center for cocaine and alcohol addiction soon after marrying Kidman in 2006 — a year after the two met in Hollywood. Kidman has spoken openly about the pain of addiction and recovery.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar on October 9, she said: “There's something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through. You're going to have to feel it. You're not going to be able to numb it.
"You are going to have to feel it, and it's going to feel insurmountable at times. You're going to feel like you're broken, but if you move gently and slowly — and it can take an enormous amount of time — it does pass.”
Kidman’s Family Background
Nicole Kidman previously adopted two children during her decade‑long marriage to Tom Cruise, which ended in 2001. Daughter Isabella is now 33, and son Connor is 31.
Fans of both artists have shows to look forward to this year. Urban is scheduled to perform on March 2 at the Nassau Cruise Port Amphitheater in the Bahamas, part of the Top Shelf Country Cruise lineup.
Collins, meanwhile, is set to take the stage on July 9 at Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, IL.
Before her rise in country music, Collins first broke into entertainment as an actress. She portrayed Oprah Pearl on the sitcom The Class, created by David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik.
The show aired on CBS for one season from 2006 to 2007.
