Cristiano Ronaldo's wife, Georgina Rodriguez, found that her butt was photoshopped out of an image featured in a newspaper.

Whether or not you believe that Cristiano, 39, is the best soccer player of all time, it's evident to everyone that he's part of the argument.

And when he's not breaking records on the pitch, Cristiano is a big family man and that involves his five children, two of whom he has with Georgina.

Georgina, 30, is known for being an influencer and model, including having her own Netflix series titled I Am Georgina.

The family often take snaps together, but one recent image has caught attention after a major national Iranian Persian-language newspaper digitally removed Georgina's butt.

The controversial alteration occurred before the image was printed in the Hamshahri newspaper, which boasts a daily circulation of approximately 400,000 copies.

What began as an innocent family snapshot shared by Cristiano on social media to commemorate his 39th birthday soon turned into a debate on media ethics and women's representation. Take a look at the original below:

The original picture depicted Cristiano surrounded by his loved ones, including Georgina, as they celebrated the football star's special day.

However, when the image appeared in the newspaper, Georgina's figure-hugging black dress was notably altered, with her curves digitally removed.

Critics were quick to point out the poor quality of the editing, which not only erased Georgina's curves but also distorted her posture.

Speculation on X (formerly Twitter) suggests that the drastic editing may be linked to conservative dress codes enforced in certain countries like Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo and his family currently reside.

In Saudi Arabia, as in Iran and many other Muslim nations, women are required to adhere to strict dress guidelines, including wearing veils and loose-fitting clothing.

Cristiano's move to Saudi Arabia, following his signing with Al Nassr, had already attracted attention due to his and Georgina's unmarried cohabitation, reportedly overlooked by authorities. The alteration of Georgina's image has only added to the scrutiny faced by the couple.

Popular comedian and actor Omid Djalili took to X to express his concerns, stating: "They didn’t dare make her wear a veil when they arrived in Iran, so Cristiano’s wife had her behind censored out in the newspapers. Displaying such little respect for women by publicly disfiguring them says so much."

Sources close to Georgina expressed her disappointment to The Sun, emphasizing her pride in her physique and the hard work she invests in maintaining it.
