Danielle Bregoli, aka the ''Cash Me Outside'' girl, has just called out teen pop sensation Billie Eilish for not responding to her DMs in a recent Instagram Live video.
Bregoli, who also goes by the stage name ''Bhad Bhabie'', first became famous (or infamous, depending on your perspective) after appearing on an episode of the talk show, Dr. Phil, where her mother had apparently been driven to her wits end by the then-13-year-old's antisocial behavior.
Take a look at the video in question below:When the audience on the show began to jeer at her, Bregoli uttered the immortal line: "Cash me ousside, how bow dah?", and became a viral star. She capitalized on her 15 minutes of fame and became an influencer, sometimes making $40,000 per sponsored Instagram post, and launching a career in music with her Bhad Bhabie persona.
It was through her rap that the now-17-year-old met fellow-teen idol Billie Eilish, and the two struck up something of a friendship. However, in a new Instagram live vido, Bregoli called the status of their friendship into question and seems to believe that Eilish is ghosting her.
In the video in question, Bregoli states: "I think I'm friends with Billie, I don't know if Billie is my friend. Every time I DM her and give her my number, she doesn't text me. I mean, I don't know, I guess that's what happens when b*tches get famous. It could be that. I'm not tripping. I know who my real friends are [sic]."
However, it could be that there's a reasonable explanation, as Eilish recently revealed in an interview on BBC Breakfast that she's stopped paying much attention to her Instagram account.
Speaking to Louise Minchin, Eilish stated: "I stopped [reading comments] like two days ago. Literally two days ago. I stopped reading comments fully. Because it was ruining my life. Once again. It’s weird. The cooler the things you get to do are, the more people hate you, it’s crazy."
She continued: "When you feel that you have no public voice, and somebody does have a public voice, it seems so immeasurable in that equality scale of whose voice is louder. And you feel like your voice is very quiet. Even though on platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, it can reach them directly."
