The erstwhile footballer embarked on the ultimate wintertime activity with eight-year-old Harper: ice skating.

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Thanks to @nhm_icerink for looking after us today,” he captioned the snap, with others showing Harper skating at the rink near the Natural History Museum in London.

The 44-year-old has been criticised on social media in the past for kissing his daughter on the lips, with people being divided on whether to consider it sweet or creepy.

"Ok dude, kissing your daughter on the lips has always been weird... and more as she gets older," wrote one Instagram user, while another defended his choice writing, "It’s so sweet and soooo warm to see this!”
