Demi Lovato is seen supposedly serenading a ghost in order to help her overcome her trauma as a result of men in her past life.
Footage of the moment is taken from the new docu-series Unidentified With Demi Lovato and sees the singer belt out their hit song 'Skyscraper' for which they apparently receive a standing ovation from the ghost.
In the episode, Lovato, their friend Matthew Scott and paranormal investigator Chris Smith visit Vulture City, an old ghost town in Arizona.
"Demi Lovato brings viewers on a road trip in search of definitive answers to some of the biggest questions about extraterrestrial life; joined by their sister, a few skeptical friends, leading alien experts, and the occasional guest star," the show's official synopsis reads.
In the episode, Lovato, Scott, and Chris purportedly come across "a spirit who has past trauma with men" while in an abandoned brothel.
Check out the moment below:They even set up an EMF detector - a device that makes sounds whenever communication takes place.
In the episode, Lovato asks the spirit, known only as Carmen: "Have you seen anything like ETs here, or UFOs? Star people?"
At first, the gadget makes a noise, however, when the former Disney star asks Carmen if she is a Star person - individuals from another dimension or universe - the device stays silent.
"Did you not want to say anything else because the boys were in here?" Lovato asks Carmen, who falls silent when Lovato's male friends enter the room.

"She has trauma, which is why she doesn't. like men," Lovato explains.
"If I sing you a song, can my friends come back in the room?" they ask the spirit before a sinister knocking sound is heard - which appears to indicate a "yes" in ghoul language.
"I have trauma, too, so I feel you and I get it," they say, performing an impressive rendition of their 2011 hit 'Skyscraper'.
"Well I always sing 'Skyscraper' when I feel like singing something emotional," Lovato explains their choice of song.
When Lovato finishes their performance, the device lets out a noise, which Lovato's friends deem a "standing ovation".
