Demi Lovato's ex-fiancé takes to her Instagram comments to slam the singer
At the People's Choice Awards on November 15, host Demi Lovato joked about getting "unengaged" in her opening monologue.
The 28-year-old 'Confident' singer called off her engagement to Young and the Restless actor Max Ehrich back in September.
And it looks like Ehrich isn't too happy about the pop star talking about their fairly recent breakup.
In fact, in the comments of one of her most recent posts, uploaded on November 19, Ehrich slammed the singer for "exploiting" the split.

The actor wrote two comments. One read: "Stop talking about me on award shows. Thanks."
The second comment read: "Exploiting our breakup for clout at [the People's Choice Awards] is not chill."
But what exactly did Lovato say at the People's Choice Awards?
This is how it all went down:
Lovato said during her monologue that she was "so excited" to be there, adding: "Honestly, this year has been the longest three years of my life.
"Don't get me wrong, it started out amazing. I performed at the Grammys and sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl," she added.
"But then, COVID hit, and everything shut down. So I did what everyone else did, I went into lockdown mode, and got engaged."

The singer then joked about all the things she did to keep herself busy during the lockdown.
"I got into painting, photography, meditation, tested the limits of post mates unlimited. Also, I didn't know this could happen but reached the end of Instagram four times," she said.
"I binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert. So basically the same as everyone else."
While Demi has yet to respond to Max's comments on her post, hundred of her fans have.
One of Demi's fans took to the comments to argue: "Mentioning she broke up isn't mentioning you. By posting this publicly it's your lame attempt at attention."
Another fan wrote: "You know damn well she does not need to do anything for clout. And weren't you the one exploiting it in the very beginning? For Clout? Boy, have several seats and stop reaching."
Last month, Ehrich took to Instagram Live to speak-out about his break-up from Lovato - accusing the singer of using him as a "pawn" in "a calculated PR stunt".
You can watch clips from the live-stream in the video below:

During his live stream, Ehrich - looking like he was at least trying to cry - said: "Stop using me as a pawn and a PR stunt. Stop."
He then appeared to address Lovato's fans, saying: "Stop breaking into my Airbnb. Stop harassing me. Stop harassing my mom, my family, the people around me - to 'scare' us."
Adopting a sarcastic tone, Ehrich continued: "Just like, make art. I'll support you.
"You're all great, you're awesome. Literally just like, leave me alone. And stop using your millions of dollars to write false, fake news about me."
It is still unclear whether Ehrich was addressing Lovato directly or the media in general.
He added: "I'm a person. I'm a living, breathing person with feelings, with blood in my arms. If y'all wanna villainize me, literally say whatever you wanna say at this point."
"It's just the craziest thing," Ehrich said, adding: "This is the most bizarre experience that I hope no one ever has to experience, ever. 'Cause no person deserves to feel this way. Pete Davidson didn't deserve to feel this way."
Comedian Pete Davidson dated singer Ariana Grande back in 2018, and the pair were briefly engaged between June and October of that year before calling off the relationship.
Referring to Lovato's latest single, 'Still Have Me', Ehrich said: "I was in love. The whole world should frickin' know it. I thought I found the real deal. Now I found out that I was used.
"But I hope the song's No. 1 because, you know what, if that's what someone wants in the material world — here you go, you have it. I hope this makes you happy. Enjoy. You just lost someone who loved you fully, completely, infinitely, for everything."
