Willis's health challenges became public in March 2022 when his family announced he would step away from acting due to an aphasia diagnosis.

Nearly a year later, in February 2023, they disclosed his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia.

The Juror actress, 62, and the Die Hard actor, 69, were married between 1989 and 2000 and share daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33 and Tallulah, 31.

"We will always be a family, just in a different form," Moore told Variety in an interview published Thursday (February 6).

"For me, there was never a question. I show up because that's what you do for the people you love," she added.

Willis also shares daughters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, with his current wife Emma Heming, 46.

Demi revealed she visits Bruce every week and tries to support her daughters, Emma and the daughters Emma and Bruce share.

"I hope it's encouraging for others to see that there's a different way to do things," Moore said of the friendship and Willis still have after they ended their relationship.

"There is life after divorce. There is a way to co-parent with love," Demi stated.

The G.I. Jane actress shared similar thoughts with CNN in December last year.

"That has been very important to me even from when Bruce and I separated and divorced, is the recognition that we're a family, and we'll always be a family just in a different form.

"And that form may kind of evolve and change, and there is a way in which we can all be in that form," she told Christiane Amanpour.

During her CNN interview, she also gave an update on her ex-spouse's health.

"Given the givens, he's in a very stable place at the moment," Moore said.

"And I've shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It's so important for anybody who's dealing with this to really meet them where they're at.

"And from that place, there is such loving and joy," she added.
