Demi Moore took the stage by storm at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala on Thursday, delivering a fiery introduction for Cher.
The 61-year-old actress didn't mince words as she insisted on respect for the legendary performer, as reported by Metro.
Addressing the audience at the star-studded event, Moore, dressed in a stunning silver plunge dress, emphasized Cher's illustrious career.
"I’m going to see if this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for," she began.
Ensuring the crowd was fully engaged, Moore continued: "I’m just making sure that you’re really, really with me. Because this incredible woman that I’m about to introduce – she’s a Grammy winner, an Oscar winner, an Emmy winner."
In a moment captured on video by Variety’s co-Editor in Chief, Ramon Setoodeh, Moore singled out someone in the audience, saying, "Are you an Emmy winner over there in the back of the room? I f*****g don’t think so."
"She’s a style icon and my personal hair inspiration," Moore added, before concluding, "She is just one of the most talented, successful, and best-loved performers of all time. So please, give a warm welcome to the incredible, one and only Cher."

Cher later took the stage in a striking black combat-style suit, delivering a memorable performance.
Supermodel Heidi Klum shared videos of the event, capturing the crowd and Cher's presence.
Cher dazzled in multiple outfits, including a shiny leotard and leather jacket for renditions of 'If I Could Turn Back Time' and 'Believe'.
Earlier, on the red carpet, Moore and Cher posed together, joined by Cher’s 38-year-old boyfriend, Alexander Edwards, a Def Jam music executive.
The evening came after Moore's recent defense of her latest film, The Substance, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
The movie, directed by Coralie Fargeat, has been described as the most grotesque film since Saltburn, and received a 13-minute standing ovation.

She praised co-star Margaret Qualley as a "great partner," especially during their intense and bloody fight scenes.
"We were obviously quite close at some moments... and naked. But there was also a levity [in shooting those scenes]," Moore shared, per The Hollywood Reporter.
She explained that the explicit content was essential for the film's narrative, which shifts "the male perspective of the ideal woman."
At the press conference, Moore assured that the film is not anti-men but "anti-jerks."
