Dennis Rodman once revealed he injured his manhood three separate times during intimate encounters.
The basketball icon became known for his wild lifestyle off the court, and his former wife, Carmen Electra, has also shared some extremely private details about their past relationship.
The couple got married during an all-night bender in Las Vegas in November 1998 before filing for divorce six months later.
The NBA star opened up about his painful incidents in an interview cited by Metro, sharing that it all began with his ex-girlfriend after a day of "partying" in Texas.
“Me and my girlfriend, we were on the back of the boat in a king size bed and she said ‘I think I’m going to try something different,'" he recalled in 2016. "She told me to walk over there and told me to run and jump in her p****."
The former athlete said he heard a "crunch" before blood went "everywhere," prompting his girlfriend to scream: "Oh my God, he is dead." He replied: "No honey. I just broke my d***."
The second took place while Rodman was dating a woman named Tracy during his time with the Detroit Pistons. "Crack, another one. I couldn’t do anything," he said.
His third injury occurred during an encounter in a New York hotel room and resulted in a trip to the hospital.
"We go to hospital and my girlfriend is like, 'Well you know, he has a problem with his penis,'" he said.
"The woman comes up and says 'Oh, I’ll be right back'. She brought another doctor in, and then another one. I swear to God she just kept bringing people in.
"They told me I had a contused p**nis," he revealed.
Rodman also claimed that the following day, a nurse asked him for $25,000 in exchange for the X-ray pictures of his manhood.
Rodman's adventurous private life later extended to his relationship with Electra, whom he dated during the Chicago Bulls' 1997-98 championship season.
The Baywatch star told the Los Angeles Times that Rodman once blindfolded her and took her by motorcycle to the Bulls' practice facility on a day off.
"One day when the Bulls had an off day from practicing, Dennis said he had a surprise for me," she recounted. "He blindfolds me and we get on his motorcycle. When he finally takes my blindfold off, we’re standing at the Bulls practice facility, center court."
The pair then took full advantage of having the facility to themselves.
"It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place - in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court," she revealed.
"To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever worked out so hard in his life," she quipped.
Despite their eventual split, Electra has said she has no regrets about their relationship.
"I have no regrets at all," she said. "I saw all these different sides of Dennis. He would always say, 'No one understands me. No one gets me.' He was very emotional at times. Then there was the sweet romantic side and the fun, eccentric guy who loved to go out and drink and wear feathered boas. But on the court, he was a savage."
"I was so honored to see them play," the Playboy model added. "There’s just no words for that era. There will never be another one like it."
