Dick Van Dyke has once again proven why he is loved by fans all over the world.

The 96-year-old Mary Poppins star has spent the last eight decades working to put smiles on faces - and he certainly isn't slowing down any time soon.

According to the Daily Mail, the Hollywood legend was recently photographed purchasing a number of red plaid winter coats at a Malibu store, before being spotted dropping them off at a local nonprofit organization.

Despite being a Grammy, Tony, and Emmy award-winning actor, Dyke was pictured pushing the shopping cart full of coats and loading them into his Lexus. He then dropped the clothing off personally at the nonprofit.

Over on Twitter, fans were quick to praise Van Dyke for his generosity, with one person branding him a "national treasure".

The good deed comes just days after the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang star was pictured handing out cash to those in need waiting at the Malibu Community Labor Exchange in Malibu, California.

Per PEOPLE, the actor also took the time to talk to employees and job seekers at the employment center.

The Daily Mail reports that the star told a photographer: "Whenever I have some fives I come by. You can't do it all the time, though!"

However, the actor's kind gestures have clearly meant a lot to those who work at the Malibu Community Labor Exchange - with one employee describing Van Dyke as "an angel from God".

According to the MCLE's official website, the "community-created nonprofit organization" was founded in 1993 and "provides an organized and supportive place for the people of Malibu to hire and be hired, creating opportunities for the unemployed to build independence and self-sufficiency through work."

Back in June, Van Dyke was spotted telling well-wishers cheerfully that he is "just glad to still be here" as he ran some errands.

In an interview with Closer Weekly, the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang alum opened up about keeping fit and staying active in his later life, revealing he still works out three times a week.

"I’ve always been an exerciser and still am … I get in the pool and exercise. At my age, they say to keep moving. Put me on solid ground and I’ll start tapping," he told the outlet in 2009.

Van Dyke is currently married to 51-year-old make-up artist Arlene Silver, and the pair even released a single together, 'Everybody Loves a Lover', earlier this year.

The couple met back in 2006 at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and married six years later in 2012.

Van Dyke also has four children - Christian, Barry, Stacy, and Carrie Beth - whom he shares with ex-wife Margerie Willett.
