An aesthetic doctor has weighed in to reveal why he believes Kris Jenner's recent facelift was so successful and so natural.
Kris Jenner, 70, left fans stunned when she stepped out looking more youthful than ever last spring, after having undergone a facelift.
Kris's surgery - which is said to have cost around $150,000 - was performed by New York surgeon Steven Levine, and is the second time she'd undergone the procedure, having had her first facelift around 15 years prior.
After her new look went viral, Kris told Vogue Arabia: "I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh.
"I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy."
She added: "Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything.
"But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version."
Dr. Mo Hamed, who goes by Dr. Motox, recently opened up on why he believes Kris's facelift was so much better than most others.
He told the Tea at Four podcast: "The older client [that comes to see me] is showing me Kris Jenner, but we all know what she’s had done, she’s had that incredible face lift.
“She’s just seen someone who’s a little bit fresh, a bit newer, got new ideas and who’s probably been trained in a different way, whereas before facelifts were very much pulling things tight, so we could all tell - you didn’t have to be a surgeon to be able to tell.
"The eye would be a bit catty and pulled up, the cheek is over-taut, the ear is slightly distorted because it’s pulled back too much. She’s gone to see someone who’s done it differently, where he didn’t change her features at all, it still looks like Kris Jenner but things are, rather than tighter, just smoother.
"And that is because the kind of facelift that he’s done is just in a slightly different plane and whatever magic he’s doing, he’s done it in a way where it doesn’t distort anything, nothing’s tighter, things are just firmer, which looks incredible."
Dr. Motox revealed that he is increasingly seeing people going under the knife for facelifts in their 30s, as they tell him they want to "look their best now, not when they’re in their 60s”.
While Kris's surgery has been performed to an incredible standard, Dr. Motox revealed that it doesn't stop there, as she will likely be using injectables to maintain the look.
He revealed: "It’s not like you have a face lift and you’re done - you’ve got to do maintenance to keep that.
"You’ve got to keep the skin firm, you’ve got to keep things lifted, things smoother, you’ve got to be using your retinol."
