At some point you have probably been in a 'Truth or Dare' situation of some kind. Whatever the variation, whether it's a 'f**k marry kill" dilemma or a "would you rather..." scenario, the idea is to give you a hard choice to find out some deep truths about people. Personally, I always hated these games, so would end up always choosing to opt out - but by doing this you leave yourself open to scorn for being a killjoy.

If that can make you feel pretty bad at a party, imagine how awful you would feel in front of an audience of strangers, with millions watching you at home. Okay, that's likely not going to happen to most of us, but it does happen on television to celebrities now and then, when talk shows try and spice things up with new challenges.

On the Late Late Show with James Corden, there's a segment called 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts'. As you can probably guess, this involves contestants being forced to choose between answering a difficult question or eating something gross. This week, the contestants were actors John Boyega and Drew Barrymore.

The selection involved fish eyes, bird saliva, giant water scorpion, thousand-year-old eggs, dried squid ice cream, jellyfish, spam smoothie, and turkey testicles - with Boyega, Barrymore and Corden taking turns asking each other questions.

At one point John Boyega gave in, choosing to eat giant water scorpion rather than revealing exactly how much money he made by starring in the new Star Wars movies, but Barrymore just couldn't force herself to eat the food item she was given: the turkey testicles.

She was forced to pick between eating this horrific dish or rank three actors she had previously worked with based on their acting talent: Hugh Grant, Adam Sandler, and Jake Gyllenhaal. I know the order I would choose, it's a pretty easy ranking to make - right? But her answer was surprising, to say the least.

First off she announced that Jake Gyllenhaal was the least talented so that she didn't have to "eat a turkey's ball", but she was forced to properly rank them instead.

"When I run into him next time, I’ll be like, 'Dude, it was selling you down the river or eating turkey’s balls,'" Drew said. "I’m sorry, Jake, it was the turkey testicles!"

In the end her order went: Adam, Hugh, then Jake.

Really? Honestly the easy order for me would be the complete reverse of what she said, with Adam Sandler a distant last with Gyllenhaal way ahead in first place.

There might be another reason for this ranking, as Sandler and Barrymore have worked together several times and seem to get on pretty well, often complimenting each other when they're asked about their on-screen chemistry. But still, if you had to put someone last in that list, it wouldn't be Gyllenhaal, surely?
