Drew Barrymore has admitted that she still has steamy dreams about some of her exes.

During Monday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress, and her co-host Ross Mathews spoke about a New York Times article that discussed what it meant to dream about ex-romantic partners.

At one point, Barrymore said that she has had nightmares about previous boyfriends, to which Mathews responded by asking the 50 First Dates star if she's "ever had a dream of an ex that made you go 'Oooh?'"

The 47-year-old joked: "I think that's the only place I'm getting action these days, Ross."

Barrymore continued: "Every six months I’ll have the hottest dream and I’ll be like, 'Oh my God.' And I’m like, 'Oh, I am libidinous and alive.'"

Take a listen to Drew Barrymore's confession right here:

Matthews replied: "I just love that in your dreams one of your exes was all up in your libidness."

He then asked her to elaborate on the meaning of the word "libidinous," and she responded: "Like I have a libido, like I'm alive and I have a pulse."

The Never Been Kissed star went on to say: "Dreams, they're a safe space to work a lot of things out."

The talk show host is currently thought to be single, having ended it with her husband of four years, Will Kopelman, back in 2016. The pair are on good terms as they continue to raise their two daughters, Olive, 9, and Frankie, 7.

Barrymore was previously married to Jeremy Thomas from 1994 to 1995 and Tom Green from 2001 to 2002. She also dated a number of her co-stars during her acting career: David Arquette, Sam Rockwell, Justin Long, and Luke Wilson.

Earlier this year, she revealed on her show that she had been in an open relationship with the latter from 1997 to 1998.

"When we first met. We were young and wild," Barrymore said. "I was dating him, but I think he was also dating other people. It was an open relationship; we were young."

She continued: "It's so funny because when you're young you're like, 'It's low stakes, we're just young. We're having fun, we're all playing, actors, hanging out.' You're not taking it all so seriously, and it was fun and we had the best time."
