Dua Lipa and Callum Turner officially tied the knot in a low-key affair at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday afternoon (May 31).
According to Vogue, the British couple confirmed their engagement on social media back in the summer of 2025, and quietly celebrated their marriage in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends last weekend.
However, the pair are now looking forward to a bigger celebration with a much larger guest list, set to take place in Sicily, Italy.
The singer and actor are reportedly splashing out on a celebration set to take place in Palermo and Bagheria, with a three-day event expected to last from June 5 to 7.
Sicily has become a popular location for celebrities to host parties and weddings, due to its coastline location and old-world feel, so it's no surprise that Lipa and Turner have picked it out.
It's been revealed by AD that the couple will be hosting guests at Villa Igiea as one of the wedding's key locations, with the legendary five-star hotel in Palermo ready to host the star-studded event.
It is rumored that the likes of Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Donatella Versace and Simon Porte Jacquemus will help to make up the guest list for the Palermo and Sicily-based celebration.
There will also be several other A-list names from the world of entertainment, as it is expected that a certain music legend will take on the mantle of best man.
This is rumored to be none other than Elton John, whose long-term friendship and professional relationship with Lipa could put him in pole position to assume the important wedding role.
This has not been confirmed yet, but John is also set to be joined on the guest list with some key figures in Italian fashion, likely to make an appearance.
Both Versace and Jacquemus are said to be involved in designing Lipa's wedding wardrobe, while renowned Italian wedding planner Alessandra Grillo is expected to pull all the strings across the celebration.
Apart from the heightened likelihood of sun compared to the UK, the region they have chosen features a chic 18th-century mansion, with one in Sicily known as the “Casina alla Bagaria”.
It was commissioned by Anna Gravina, Princess of Gravina and Valguarnera, having been designed by famous architect Tommaso Maria Napoli.
The house is considered one of the finest examples of Sicilian Baroque architecture, with the villa known for its open spaces, sea-facing gardens, and sheer size.
This venue is expected to host a chunk of the wedding celebrations, with plans involving local authorities and the City of Palermo so security is prepared for the event.
