Dwayne Johnson delighted a young Moana fan battling cancer as he serenaded her with a song from the movie.

The retired wrestler spent his 49th birthday reaching out to the four-year-old girl via an Instagram video. The sweet post saw the actor sing 'You're Welcome' -  the tune his character Maui belts out in the 2016 Disney flick.

Check out the adorable video here:

In the sweet video, Johnson says: "This goes out to a very special and very strong little girl. Her name is Indy Llew.

"A friend of mine just sent me this awesome video of a young girl singing 'How Far I'll Go' from the movie Moana."

He then jokes: "Now I know you have no idea who I am, and that's totally cool but I was in Moana. I'm Maui. I know, where's my hair?"

The wrestler-turned-actor then proceeds to perform his own personal rendition of 'You're Welcome' for little Indy.

He captioned the post: "It's 1am and I just got sent this beautiful vid of a VERY special & strong little girl named Indy Llew Stay strong honey and keep singing your songs! Love you, MAUI."

The post has since managed to rack up 4.4 million likes and over 39,000 comments.

The Rock came across the young girl after a friend sent him a video his mom posted of her singing along with Alessia Cara's rendition of 'How Far I'll Go'.

As Indy was born with Down Syndrome, she has a greater risk of developing diseases such as leukemia.

The little girl has battled myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare blood cancer, at various points in her short life and is currently fighting leukemia, her mother revealed in an Instagram post last month.

We wish young Indy all the health, strength, and happiness in her recovery!
