Elizabeth Hurley has opened up about filming sex scenes in her latest movie - revealing that it was made easy thanks to her her 21-year-old son being behind the camera.
Hurley, 58, had to take part in intimate scenes for her movie Strictly Confidential, which is written and directed by her son, Damien Hurley. Watch the full trailer for the film below:
The synopsis for the movie reads: "A haunted young woman finds herself drawn into a world of seduction, duplicity and betrayal as she desperately tries to uncover the mystery surrounding her best friend's suicide."
The trailer for the film features risque scenes between Hurley and actress Pear Chiravara.
Hurley candidly confessed during a joint interview with Access Hollywood that while these scenes might have been unfamiliar territory for her, she felt secure and supported with her son at the helm. "Having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after," she stated, adding: "It’s kind of liberating to work with your family."
Damian, who has also directed his mother in numerous bikini shoots, addressed the apparent controversy surrounding their professional dynamic.
"People find this really controversial," he acknowledged, emphasizing that show business has been ingrained in their lives. "It’s just not a thing, it’s part of business."

Echoing her son's sentiments, Hurley emphasized the comfort and ease she feels in Damian's presence on set. "I’m relaxed in front of him," she admitted. "He looks after me…it’s relaxing knowing someone is behind the camera who looks out for you."
Safe to say that some people have been left shocked by the collaboration, as one person wrote: "I have a bunch of questions about this, yet I don't want to know the answer to any of them. Here's one such question: Why is Elizabeth Hurley's _son_ directing his mother's sex scenes? This is extremely creepy and disturbing."

Reflecting on their collaboration, Damian expressed gratitude towards his mother on Instagram in December 2022. "I want to worship @ElizabethHurley1 who... promised me she’d be in my first feature," he wrote.
"True to her word, the minute this film was greenlit, Mama dropped everything and raced out to the beautiful Caribbean to help. Working together was a dream," Damian concluded.
Damian is Hurley's only child with her late husband Steve Bing, who tragically died by suicide in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
