Vivian Jenna Wilson, one of Musk’s children from his first marriage to author Justine Wilson, has made headlines before for legally changing her name and gender in 2022.
At the time, she made it clear she didn’t want anything to do with her famous father, stating she didn’t want to be “related to [her] biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Now, she’s taken that message even further — speaking out in interviews, live streams, and social media posts with scathing critiques of Musk’s political views, parenting style, and most recently, his bold promise to colonize Mars.
Appearing on a livestream with political commentator Hasan Piker, Wilson took direct aim at Musk’s SpaceX ambitions. Musk has long claimed humans could land on Mars by 2029, with the long-term goal of colonizing the Red Planet by 2050.
But Wilson isn’t buying it.

“It’s not happening, people,” she bluntly told viewers, cited by the Daily Mail.
She then mocked the billionaire’s timeline and adding: “Do you know how long it would take to colonize and terraform that thing?”
Then, she delivered the knockout line: “It’s a marketing scheme that everyone somehow fell for despite being debunked by a f****** Google search.”
Tensions between Wilson and Musk have been escalating publicly ever since Musk began referencing her online — often in ways that many find deeply problematic.
In one now-infamous tweet, Musk deadnamed Wilson and claimed she had been “killed by the woke mind virus.”
Wilson initially responded on Threads, calling the comment “gross” and promising to address it later.
She did - in legendary fashion.
She posted a TikTok with a screenshot of Musk’s tweet, followed by a clip of herself lip-syncing the lyrics: “I look pretty good for a dead b****.”**
Her caption read: “And you don’t.”
Beyond the memes, Wilson has made more serious allegations about her upbringing—specifically, about being conceived via in-vitro fertilization.
On Threads, she claimed Musk selected her embryo’s sex before birth, writing:
“My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for. So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold.”
She added: “That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION.”

Musk, who had five children via IVF, has not commented directly on whether he selected embryos based on sex.
Wilson also challenged narratives that Musk only turned right-wing after her transition.
“His political ideology has been set in stone since at least 2016,” she said on stream. “He was never on the left.”
Though she no longer communicates with Musk, she admits she still sees headlines and public discourse about him—especially the kind she finds cringe-worthy.
“I’ll see things about [Musk] in the news,” she told Teen Vogue, “and I think it’s fking cringe. I should probably post about this and denounce it.”
