Emily Ratajkowski has claimed that Robin Thicke groped her breasts while the pair were recording the music video for his track, 'Blurred Lines'.

Back in 2013, Thicke topped charts around the world with collaborators Pharrell Williams and rapper T.I. with their track, which went on to become one of the highest-selling singles of all time.

However, despite its success in the charts, 'Blurred Lines' has been plagued by controversy - from being accused of promoting "rape culture" to Thicke and Williams paying out $5 million to Marvin Gaye's family after they were found liable of copyright infringement.

Many people will also be familiar with the track's two music videos. Directed by Diane Martel, the unrated version saw Thicke, Williams, and T.I. surrounded by topless models Emily Ratajkowski, Elle Evans, and Jessi M'Bengue.

Now, supermodel Ratajkowski has hit out at Thicke in her new book, titled My Body.

Per The Sunday Times, the now-30-year-old supermodel writes that she initially had no issues with the nudity required of her in the music video. But this changed when Thick, now 44, "returned to the set a little drunk to shoot just with me."

Writing in her book, Ratajkowski states: "Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind. I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke."

She adds: "He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the set. Diane’s voice cracked as she yelled out to me, 'Are you okay?'"

"I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the heat of humiliation pump through my body," the chapter adds.

"I didn't react – not really, not like I should have."

Speaking to The Times, director Martel appeared to confirm the incident took place, which she says would not have happened "had [Thicke] been sober".

"I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts. One in each hand. He was standing behind her as they were both in profile. I screamed in my very aggressive Brooklyn voice, ‘What the fuck are you doing, that’s it!! The shoot is over,'" Martel told the newspaper. She also added that Thicke apologized after the incident.

The Times adds that "multiple attempts were made to contact Thicke's representatives" with regards to Ratajkowski's allegations, but the publication received no response.
