People have been calling Blake Lively the "luckiest girl in the world" after Ryan Reynolds' birthday post, as he moves away from his usual hilarious posts.
The celebrity couple are well known for winding each other up online, and in previous years Reynolds has posted a picture of himself to celebrate Lively's birthday, and she usually responds with a picture of Ryan Gosling.
It would seem that this year, the Deadpool actor was feeling a bit more sentimental as he posted a very heartfelt message alongside adorable pictures for his wife's birthday.
The heartwarming caption read: "The only thing irrevocably mine in the world is the love and appreciation and awe I feel for this person. Witnessing her life is something I couldn’t take for granted if I tried. And believe me, I try. Happy Birthday, @blakelively. You hung the damn moon."
The reel of images contained snaps of the couple together looking incredibly happy, as well as some shots of Lively by herself - it's evident that Reynolds absolutely dotes on his wife.
This was evident to his followers too, as they flooded the comment section with their thoughts.
One person was clearly envious of Lively, as they stated: "She's the luckiest girl in the world in my opinion!"
A second person added: "Kept waiting for the classic-Ryan jokiness but this is actually so sweet and heart-warming," while a third said: "This is really lovely. So nice for society to see this kind of love. Happy birthday Blake!"
Their romance sparked back in 2010 on the set of Green Lantern, although they were both involved with other partners at the time. Their relationship officially blossomed the following year, and the rest is history.
Reynolds, however, has made it clear that his family takes precedence over the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. In a candid conversation with Jessi Hempel, Senior Editor at Large for LinkedIn News, he expressed: "The biggest thing for me, and I know you have kids as well, is that I don't want to miss this time with my kids."
His commitment to being a hands-on father prompted him to take breaks from his Hollywood commitments. Reynolds detailed how he and Lively coordinated their work schedules to ensure that one of them was always present for their children.
So not only are they both extremely talented in their own right, they appear to be the best couple around.
