A congressional candidate in Florida has been mercilessly ridiculed by social media users over the weekend, after posting a series of bizarre tweets regarding singer Beyoncé.
KW Miller - a non-affiliated politician who is currently running for a seat in the 18th Congressional District in Florida - posted the bizarre tweets on July 5.
In the first tweet, Miller claims that the former Destiny's Child member is "faking" being black, and linked her to Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros (who conspiracy theorists have linked to the recent unrest across the US).
Miller posted to his 17,000+ followers:
"Beyoncé is not even African American. She is faking this for exposure. Her real name is Ann Marie Lastrassi. She is Italian. This is all part of the Soros Deep State agenda for the Black Lives Matter movement. BEYONCÉ YOU ARE ON NOTICE!"
Oh boy, and it didn't end there.
Miller then tweeted claiming that Beyoncé's song 'Formation' contained a secret code to "the globalists" and that it proved "that she was demonic". He wrote:
"You all do know that Beyoncé’s song 'Formation' was a secret coded message to the globalists I certainly hope?
"The song clearly admitted that she was demonic and that she worshipped in the Satanist churches located in Alabama & Louisiana.
"She keeps Satanist symbols in her bag."
Miller added: "In the Satanist 'Formation' song Beyonce shouts out a “Black Bill Gates in the making”. Consequently, in 2020 we see Black Lives Matter terrorizing the country at the same time as Bill Gates pushes a COVID vaccination. She was getting the ladies in formation 4 years ago. Why? [sic]"
Needless to say, Miller got the sort of response you were probably expecting from Twitter users: relentless mockery.
Comedian Steven Hofstetter responded to the video, tweeting: "This is a real person running for Congress.
"This is not a parody account. This is not a 12 year old. This is a human adult who is trying to govern us. How the f*** did we get here."
Another wrote: "We’re surrounded by idiots and they’re even running for Congress."
Rapper Elijah Daniel even managed to point out that Miller may have acquired his "information" from some bizarre fanfiction about Ariana Grande and Beyoncé - providing screenshots as proof:
And Jessie actress Skai Jackson replied, calling Miller "delusional", writing: "Ann Marie Lastrassi?? You are delusional. Beyonce, I’m sorry a clown like this would say that.."
And just in case you thought there was a small chance Miller was joking, he has since replied to his critics, doubling down on his claims and asking anybody who doesn't believe him: "Does mommy still tuck you into bed at night?"
And per The Independent, the chances that Miller was hacked seem unlikely as he has previously posted similar messages on a GoFundMe for his campaign, as well as on his Facebook page.
Of course, Beyoncé's full name is Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter - and she obviously has not replied to the ludicrous accusations.
