Johnny Wactor’s family has spoken out to slam the late star's ex-fiancée Tessa Farrell for her emotional tribute.
Over the weekend, it was reported that the 37-year-old actor had sadly died after being fatally shot in downtown Los Angeles.
Speaking to TMZ, the actor's mom Scarlett revealed that her son had just finished a shift at a nearby rooftop bar when he and a co-worker he was with at the time, were allegedly met by three masked suspects by his vehicle attempting to steal his catalytic converter.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday morning, resulted in Wactor being shot trying to shield his co-worker after attempting to talk to one of the men.

Paramedics rushed the General Hospital alum to a nearby hospital, but sadly he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
In the wake of the tragic news, his ex Tessa Farrell, took to social media to plea with the criminals who have been at large since the fatal shooting.
"If the person who did this, if you’re watching, I’m sorry, but you shot the wrong guy," Farrell said through tears in a video posted to TikTok and Instagram on Monday. "You can get a real job. I know the job market’s hard but we’re all in it together. You don’t have to steal - especially take a life over it."
Farrell then begged for changes to be made "as a community" regarding crime issues.
"These criminals can’t keep being on the street and they can’t keep being sent back and have no repercussions for their actions," Farrell continued. "It’s not ok, this can’t keep happening. So many lives are being lost, just us not being smart - we have to be smarter as a community."

The heartbroken mother also denied that she nor the rest of her family were in contact with Farrell for years and that her son was also not in contact with her for the past "two or three years."
