Greta Thunberg has once again displayed her fire social media game after trolling climate change deniers following a report that rising pollution levels are having an impact on penis sizes.

The 18-year-old activist took to Twitter to share a Sky News article with the headline: "Human penises are shrinking because of pollution, warns scientist".

In said article, environmental scientist Dr Shanna Swan writes in her new book, titled Count Down, that the human race is facing an "existential crisis" due to the fact that rising levels of phthalates - a chemical used when manufacturing plastics - is causing "a growing number of babies are being born with small penises".

Truly concerning stuff.

Anyway, Thunberg being the superb internet troll that she is, took to her personal Twitter account to not only share the article, but also make a sly dig at people who will all of a sudden be taking a keen interest in climate change over the genital issue.

"See you all at the next climate strike," Thunberg wrote to her 4.9 million followers, accompanied with a smiley face.

The witty tweet has already amassed over 365,000 likes and more than 59,000 retweets on the social media platform, with people hailing Thunberg as the "best sniper on the net".

American journalist Jemele Hill even branded Thunberg's retort the "tweet of the day".

Another Greta stan wrote: "And we have our Internet winner for the day! Keep doing what you're doing Greta. You are amazing and an inspiration to all."

In fact, there were plenty of supports in the replies section:

Of course, this isn't the first time Greta has made people sit up straight and take notice on social media.

Back in January, Thunberg took to Twitter to troll Donald Trump as left the White House for the very last time.

As the former president vacated the Oval Office, the climate activist shared the following tweet, heavy with irony: "He seems like a very happy old man looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

As you may remember, Thunberg was harking back to a previous tweet Trump had written about the Swede following her address to the Davos summit in January last year.

At that time, the president tweeted: "She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

Clearly, Greta holds a grudge.
