The eight-round contest, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Texas, lasted two minutes and was scored 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 in favor of the controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer.
According to Netflix, the clash between the stars drew a massive global audience, with the streaming giant reporting a whopping 60 million household tune-ins, BBC reported.
The spectacle was expected to be a jaw-dropper, especially for those who paid a whopping $2 million for VIP seats. However, for one fan, the real-time fight just inches away seemed less appealing than the broadcast version on a TV screen.
A viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @KameronBennett showcases this mystery fan's puzzling decision.
Watch the video below:The clip ignited a flurry of tweets on the social media platform, with one user quipping: "$2m and the dude's still watching the screen, that's absolutely wild!"
Another chimed in: "Pay $2 MILLION dollars to sit ringside, watch the fights on a tv, albeit with snacks & comfy chairs… I’m genuinely beginning to think WHAT THE F*** ARE WE DOING HERE PEOPLE."
The humor didn't stop there, with another tweet suggesting: "Everybody in the first row at a boxing match needs to be arrested. We'll figure out the charges soon enough."

The ultra-expensive $2 million tickets weren't just about the best seats in the house; they came with mouth-watering perks. Ticket holders had access to a backstage meet-and-greet with the fighters, an open bar, and a post-fight in-ring photo op.
Not to mention that memorabilia included signed gloves from both Tyson and Paul, personal security for the event, and entry to exclusive Fight Week events.
In addition to this, the package included additional premium seats to ensure you could bring a whole crew to experience the extravagance.

The 27-year-old, who was driven to the ring in a Chevvy, snagged a unanimous decision victory, leaving many viewers underwhelmed.
After the fight, "Iron Mike" took to X to say that he had "no regrets" in taking the fight, and opened up further on the ulcer flare-up on a flight that caused its original postponement back in May.
"I almost died in June. Had eight blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight, so I won," he penned.
"To have my children see me toe-to-toe and finish eight rounds with a talented fighter half my age, in front of a packed Dallas Cowboys stadium, is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you," he added.
Paul responded to the heartwarming post with kind words, writing: "Love you Mike. It was an honor. You’re an inspiration to us all."
The result took the content creator's pro record to 11-1.
