The 33-year-old, who gave birth to her first child, daughter Aurora Raina Urker, last December, took to Instagram on Sunday (April 13) to share her latest glow-up, posting a side-by-side photo set with the caption: “My 25lbs weight loss.”
The post featured an older photo of Blanchard in a black dress at a red carpet event alongside a recent mirror selfie where she spotted a white halter top and blue jeans.
Fans of the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star flooded the comments with praise. One follower commented: "Healthy and Happy looks amazing on you. Blessing you and yours," while another wrote, "Beautiful Mama. This look is stunning on you!"
A third shared: "You look amazing! Congratulations!" and a fourth added: "You must be proud of yourself girl, I know I am."
But while many celebrated her new look, some weren’t entirely sold. Some followers accused her of using Photoshop, pointing out apparent distortions in the image.
"You look fantastic, but if you’re like 4’11 .. how are you that tall compared to the door even with that little bit of heel?" one user questioned. "Girl, next time using photoshop, remember to pay attention to the background. Your door is a bit wonky," a second said.
"Is anyone else seeing that she elongated her picture? Look at the door, it's unusually tall," someone wrote. "Gypsy…I love you but the door is bending…." a user penned.
Blanchard, who spent eight years behind bars for her role in her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard's murder, credited her weight loss to major lifestyle changes she made after her release in December 2023.
“I’ve seen a lot of comments of people asking how I lost the weight so my weight loss journey started once getting out of prison so when I started eating healthier instead of prison food, the weight begin to fall off,” she explained, per Page Six.
She also revealed she began eating “twice a day” with “smaller portions” at each meal. Speaking to People in January, Blanchard shared she had started “focusing on getting fit by doing yoga and other exercises to help tone [her] belly,” adding: “I bought small gym equipment for my home to start getting healthy."

Blanchard's story gained national attention after her conviction for second-degree murder. Her mother, Dee Dee, was believed to have suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy, leading to years of fabricated illnesses and unnecessary medical treatments for Gypsy Rose.
Their twisted relationship was the focus of HBO’s Mommy Dead and Dearest and the Hulu limited series The Act, where Joey King portrayed Gypsy Rose.
Now, as a new mother and with a renewed focus on her health, Blanchard appears to be embracing a fresh chapter in her life.
