Halle Berry turned 54 earlier in August, and she has been celebrating ever since by delighting her fans with a series of Instagram posts that extol the virtues of health, fitness and self-love.
Fans commenting on just how youthful she looks to this day is a common theme on Halle Berry's Instagram page, and a picture she previously shared in celebration of her 54th birthday was no exception.
Halle Berry recently shared this bikini video of herself:"54....life just gets better and better!" The actress wrote on the social media picture sharing app.
And now, Berry has taken to Instagram once more to share a post reminding us all to love ourselves, captioning the topless snap, "Self-love is never selfish."
And fans were delighted with the picture and message. "Thank you Halle Berry you inspire the best self, these times are weird: it’s good to see strength & beauty in visual grammar," wrote one commenter, while another added, "So VERY true! I wish everyone knew that!"


The first was a video (above), showing her walking along a beach in a pair of Privé Revaux sunglasses and a cut-out bikini that looked more like lacy lingerie.
"Leo Season in full effect #BirthdayWeekendVibin", she captioned the post, referencing the fact her star sign is Leo.
And for some fitness inspiration, Berry shared her workout playlist, along with a new post of herself with personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas. And like something out of Baywatch, Berry amazed in a bright red swimsuit - proving that she is growing stronger with each passing year.
She captioned the post: "Happy #FitnessFriday everyone!! Motivation is KEY these days, and while @peterleethomas and I will often work out without music, a good playlist can be a game changer! Writing for Women's Health back in May, Berry revealed her approach to fitness: "My average workout these days doesn't involve a single situp or crunch."
However, there is one exception, as she continued: "One abs move I do incorporate into my workouts pretty often is planks. I never did planks back in the day, but they've made a huge difference for my core strength and definition.
"Sometimes, I'll just hold a plank for as long as I can. My abs start to ache first, but pretty soon my entire body feels like it's on fire."
Berry also listed the following as part of her standard workout:
- 40 lunges with biceps curls, wearing ankle weights and wrist weights, and holding my foam dumbbells
- 20 squats to overhead presses, wearing a booty band and holding my foam dumbbells
- 38 lunges with biceps curls
- 19 squats to overhead presses
- 36 lunges with biceps curls
- 18 squats to overhead presses
- Continue to work your way down.
But in various Instagram posts over the last couple of years, Berry has also expressed her love for boxing, stretching, and yoga.
