Bizarre reason TV star Harry Jowsey injects botox in penis as he opens up about it
Reality TV star Harry Jowsey has shared the bizarre reason why he injects botox in his manhood.
The 28-year-old Too Hot to Handle alum opened up about his unusual grooming routine while speaking to Real Housewives star Lisa Vanderpump on his Boyfriend Material podcast.
During the episode, he explained that he was introduced to the cosmetic procedure by a friend. “One of my friends did it. He got stem cells and Botox and calcium,” he said.
When asked what the treatment actually does, he explained that the injections help "relax" the muscles, adding: "It's very smooth now, which is good."
Jowsey's comment prompted the 65-year-old to challenge his unusual claim. “How can you prove it?” she asked, before quickly appearing to regret the question.
He then continued describing the procedure, explaining that similar treatments can also be performed elsewhere.
According to him, “you can do it in your balls,” and it can apparently help “smooth out the wrinkles.”
However, the reality star clarified that he hadn’t opted for that particular treatment. “My balls are doing their thing,” he quipped.
Why Do Some People Get Botox In The Penis?
While Jowsey didn’t elaborate much on why he personally chose the injections, the treatment itself has become popular in certain medical and cosmetic circles.
Penile Botox is sometimes used as a treatment for erectile dysfunction or for men who experience what’s known as a “hyperactive retraction reflex".
This occurs when the body reacts strongly to stimuli such as cold temperatures or exercise, causing the penis to shrink significantly when flaccid.
Urologist and pelvic surgeon Rena Malik explained how the injections work in a YouTube video.
“Botox essentially tells your overactive sympathetic nervous system to calm down, which allows blood vessels and smooth muscles to relax,” she said. “The result is that you get better blood flow where you need it. You can also think of it like a paralytic, when we use it for wrinkles on our face.
“It basically paralyzes those muscles, so when you put it into the smooth muscles of the penis it is paralyzing those muscles to some extent, relaxing them so blood can flow more easily," she added.
Although Jowsey’s admission left some listeners stunned, he’s not the only public figure to speak openly about experimenting with treatments aimed at improving sexual health.
Tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson revealed in March 2025 that he had incorporated botox into a wider effort focused on what he called “Rejuvenating Johnson's Johnson," per PEOPLE.
The "anti-aging" man detailed the process in a lengthy post on X, explaining that he initially began exploring treatments after taking Cialis (Tadalafil), a medication commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction and enlarged prostate symptoms.
While the drug helped him determine that his “sexual function was normal,” Johnson said he wanted to push his research further.
He later introduced shockwave therapy and Botox to his routine - treatments he claimed resulted in longer erection times.
According to him, the changes even reduced his “nighttime erection biological age to around 20.”
"Many men have told me that posting this all publicly has been the most helpful thing I’ve shared. ED is common, but most don’t talk about it," he said. "Men, if you’re not performing how you’d like, there are many paths to improvement. There’s no shame in this and in fact will make you more of a man to address it head on."
He has also encouraged more open conversations about male sexual health, arguing that topics like erectile dysfunction are rarely discussed openly.
