As reported by CNN, Harry Styles has become Vogue's first-ever solo male cover star - and he's marked the milestone by wearing a dress.
According to the Evening Standard, the 'Adore You' singer is the first male to appear on the cover in 127 years.
In the striking cover, Styles dons a Gucci jacket and dress, an image that was photographed by Tyler Mitchell.

Aside from the black Gucci jacket and dress, the singer was also photographed wearing several other skirt and blazer combinations for the December Issue.
Styles said his love of "fancy dress" started when he was a youngster acting in his school plays. "It was crazy to me that I was wearing a pair of tights" for one show, he told Vogue. "And that was maybe where it all kicked off!"
"What's really exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away," he explained.
"When you take away, 'There's clothes for men and there's clothes for women,' once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play."
Styles talked about how when he is out shopping for clothes, he's often drawn to items in the women's section.
"Anytime you're putting barriers up in your own life, you're just limiting yourself," he added. "I think if you get something that you feel amazing in, it's like a superhero outfit. Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with."
Styles said he has no qualms about standing out and is inspired by some of the greats in the music industry including Prince, David Bowie, Elvis, Elton John, and Freddie Mercury.
He referred to these musicians as "showmen" that he found "completely mind-blowing" as a kid.
"Now I'll put on something that feels really flamboyant, and I don’t feel crazy wearing it."
