Ladies and gentlemen, it's that time again; just as surely as the sun rises and the sun sets, another season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is upon us. This year, we've got some (curiously on-time, now you think about it) scandals to unpack in the name of all things Kardashian; chiefly, the breakup of Khloé Kardashian's relationship with Tristan Thompson. I'm sure you've heard what's going on by now.

Earlier this week, Khloé even did us the courtesy of sharing with us the trailer for the new season - season 16, not that anyone's counting - of the show, and I've got one word for you: drama. This season filmed right up till this month, so viewers will witness all of the fallout from Khloé and Tristan's breakup.

Yeah, as you might imagine, a lot of attention is going to be giving a lot of attention to the likes of Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson (at least, if the trailer's anything to go by).

With Kanye West's song Runaway twinkling away in the background, we've got a cut to Khloé Kardashian, who's understandably pretty upset. "It just sucks that it has to be so public. I’m not just a TV show. This is my life," she says.

But more on that later; let's talk for a little bit about why Kylie Jenner was reported to have quit filming halfway through the season. "Kylie took a little break from filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians and recently got back into filming and it’s been a struggle and difficult," says a source from Us Weekly.

Here's Kylie Jenner showing off her abs:

If you know what's going on (which, come on, you do), then you know that Jordyn Woods - as well as being the woman that Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloé with - was also Kylie Jenner's best friend, and as you can imagine, the scandal and its fallout have been pretty tough on Kylie, as the source explains.

"She was very upset about the situation with Jordyn and also just didn’t want to deal with it and have to address it," added the source, but while Kylie eventually returned to filming, another Us Weekly source also reported that "cameras are capturing the situation as it unfolds, but it’s unclear what they’ll actually end up using".

But while Kylie quitting filming turned out to be little more than a temporary measure, Kylie quitting her friendship with Jordyn Woods seems like it's going to be a longer-term thing. "At first the family thought Kylie would eventually take Jordyn back, but now they don’t think she will," explained yet another Us Weekly source in the immediate aftermath of the drama back in February.

Of course, with cameras still rolling in Kasa del Kardashian, there's every chance that Kylie will be able to tell us herself how she feels in season 17. This season, however, of Keeping Up With The Kardashians begins airing next Sunday, and I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait.
