Howard Stern has teased that he may run for president.
Speaking on his eponymous show, the radio host said that he "might have to run" for the most important job in America. This time around, however, he said he wanted the job to fix the "mess" caused by anti-vaxxers amid the ongoing pandemic.

On Tuesday's episode, after the show's producer, Christ Wilding, spoke candidly about the precautions he's taking while vacationing in Panama, 67-year-old Stern said that the United States is "turning into a third-world country because of the f***ing morons we have living here."
"It's a sad commentary on my country," he added, in an apparent reference to anti-vaxxers.
"This is my country. I've got too many morons living here. We could be past a lot of this Covid business if everyone just got vaccinated," he stated. "I used to be into freedom, but I'm not anymore. I don't feel good about what's going on in my country. I might have to run just to clean this f***ing mess up."
He then bigged himself up for the job, saying: "Oh, I could clean it up in two seconds. Just the way [President] Biden got us out of Afghanistan. That quick I'm going to clean things up. Boom. Right away."
Stern added that people "would listen" to ham, as Hail to the Chief played presciently in the background.
He also called out stars who have had to leave their jobs over their decision not to get vaccinated. "Let me tell you something — I'm going to let you in a little secret — if you're an actor, it's really hard to get jobs, unless you're like in the top, top echelon," he said, calling out General Hospital actors, Ingo Rademacher and Steve Burton, who have been fired for that reason.
"Is he crazy?" Stern asked of Rademacher. "It's insanity."
Earlier this month, Stern said it would be his "civic duty" to run for president if Donald Trump runs for a second term in 2024. Per Yahoo News, the radio host also asserted that he would "beat his a**."
