Ice-T has publicly defended his wife Coco Austin following criticism over her Fourth of July outfit.
Austin, a 44-year-old model and reality TV star, stirred up a storm of controversy when she shared pictures of herself sporting a white G-string and a skimpy red top that revealed her underb**b.
The top was emblazoned with the word "Arizona" and she completed the look with two American flags and patriotic red-white-and-blue glasses.
However, Instagram users didn't hold back in expressing their displeasure with Austin’s attire in the comments section.
One asked: "You are a mother…how do you think your daughter will feel when she sees these pictures??"
Another critic said: "She’s a mom! Do you want your daughter to dress like that? Think about it."
Wanting to put a stop to the negativity, Ice-T stepped in to defend his wife, asking the critics, "If you have a Problem with Coco… Why do you still Follow her??? Weirdo s***…"
After the 'Colors' rapper's show of support, the tide seemed to turn with fans rushing in to rally around Austin.
One user said: "People need to learn to keep their opinions about women, and their bodies to themselves. She looks amazing. She’s a mother, and a wife. That should never take her right to embrace her own skin and feel confident and sexy!"
Another remarked: "If her husband don't have a problem with it why should anybody else should she has a beautiful body, and she wants to show it if you don't like it then unfollow it's not that hard she's also a beautiful woman."
Last month saw Austin take a nostalgic journey back to the past as she shared a photo of herself at 16. Austin captioned the post with, "16 year old Coco. I loved my #reebokshoes."
Interestingly, the shorts and top Austin wore in her throwback picture matched the red-and-white color scheme of her Fourth of July attire.
This isn't the first time Austin has created a buzz with her daring outfits. Back in 2021, she modeled sheer, short-cut Fashion Nova lingerie in the snow, adorned only with a fur hat and snow boots.
"What to do when a Nor'Easter hits for 2 days and 18 inches of snow later," Austin pondered in her Instagram post, concluding her caption with the fitting hashtag "#icequeen."
