Influencer Ash Trevino allegedly formed relationships with dozens of inmates, including prisoners serving time for serious crimes such as aggravated robbery and murder, according to prosecutors.
Court documents obtained by TMZ and filed by Texas prosecutors in connection with Trevino’s welfare fraud case claim she had relationships with approximately '50-75 inmates of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.'
Prosecutors alleged that some of the inmates were 'currently incarcerated for various violent offenses including but not limited to aggravated robbery and murder.'
The filings also accused Trevino of soliciting money from followers on TikTok.
Prosecutors described the activity as 'panhandling', alleging she requested financial contributions 'to disclose health information regarding a dependent.'
Authorities also raised concerns about what they characterized as Trevino's sexually explicit content, including videos and livestreams posted on her social media pages.
The influencer was initially arrested in December 2025 after authorities issued active warrants.
She was released after she posted the bond, but was taken back into custody earlier this year.
Trevino subsequently faced charges of welfare fraud and healthcare fraud.
Last week, she narrowly avoided additional time behind bars after pleading guilty to the offenses.
However, as part of her sentence, she was ordered to complete two years of community supervision, carry out 120 hours of community service, attend an anti-theft course and undergo financial counselling.
In addition, she was also ordered to repay the state $16,799.95 in restitution.

Trevino was arrested in December 2025 on active warrants. She posted bond but was taken back into custody in March 2026 after violating her bail conditions.
She was charged with welfare fraud and healthcare fraud.
On August 7, she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years of community supervision, 120 hours of community service, an anti-theft class, and financial counselling. She was also ordered to pay $16,799.95 in restitution to the state.
Prosecutors also criticised her for 'panhandling' on TikTok by requesting money from followers and for posting sexually explicit content on social media.
