Jamie Lee Curtis has announced that her child is transgender.
The 'Freaky Friday' actress, 62, opened up in a new interview with AARP Magazine about her youngest child's transition, which she says taught her that gender isn't binary.
In the interview, she said that she and her husband Christopher Guest "have watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby."

The actress added that her 25-year-old daughter - who was previously known as Thomas Guest - is marrying her fiancé next year.
Page Six reports that Ruby works as a computer gaming editor, and Curtis will officiate her marriage ceremony.
Curtis said that watching her daughter's transition has helped her realize that gender being fixed is an "old idea" and has instead taught her that her life is a "constant metamorphosis."
The actress also shared the cover of AARP The Magazine on Instagram, writing: "I very rarely smile in photographs. An old idea. I couldn't help myself though during this shoot with @aarp @brianbowensmith because I AM SO HAPPY!"
Curtis continued: "Happy to be me. Happy to be having such a creative time [working on two Halloween films]. Happy that I'm sober and clear.
"Happy that my family is safe and flourishing. Happy that my little company @my_hand_in_yours has raised over $300,000 for [Children's Hospital LA]. ... LIFE IS SWEET! It takes a village to make a cover!"
She celebrated her sobriety in an Instagram post back in February, writing: "A LONG time ago… In a galaxy far, far away… I was a young STAR at WAR with herself.
"I didn't know it then. I chased everything. I kept it hidden. I was a sick as my secrets."
Jamie continued: "With God's grace and the support of MANY people who could relate to all the 'feelings' and a couple of sober angels… I've been able to stay sober, one day at a time, for 22 years."
"I was a high bottom, pun kind of intended, so the rare photo of me proudly drinking in a photo op is very useful to help me remember."
The actress then offered to help anyone else who is struggling with addiction, writing: "To all those struggling and those who are on the path… MY HAND IN YOURS."
