Jamie Lynn Spears has broken her silence on her sister Britney's conservatorship.
In a post on her Instagram Story on Monday, June 28, the Sweet Magnolia actress addressed the issue of her pop icon sibling's battle in court to free herself from her father's control.
In a video shared with her 2.2 million followers, the 30-year-old actress said: "I think it's extremely clear that since the day I was born I've only loved and adored and supported my sister."

"I don't care if she wants to run away to the rainforest and have a zillion babies in the middle of nowhere, or if she wants to come back and dominate the world the way she has so many times before."
She added: "I've made a very conscious choice in my life to only participate in her life as her sister.
"Maybe I didn't support her the way the public would like me to, with a hashtag on a public platform. But I can assure you I have supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I'll support her long after. Note that."

This comes after Britney's ex-husband and the father of her children, Kevin Federline, weighed in on the subject of her conservatorship via his lawyer.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan stated on his behalf: "What is best for her, Kevin supports her in being able to do that.
"It doesn't matter how positive of an effect a conservatorship has had if it's having a deleterious effect and detrimental effect on her state of mind.
"So he supports her having the best environment for her to live in and for his children to visit with their mother in."

Federline stated via Kaplan that the conservatorship is only still relevant to their children because "there are financial issues that have to be addressed."
But he added that he's hoping that the conservatorship will be scrapped in the near future: "to make sure when the boys visit with mom" that "everything is stable and safe."
