The pressure we all face over our appearances is immense, and perhaps more intense now than at any other time in history.
Not only just appearing on the front covers of glossy magazines, we're now presented with images of chiseled perfection seemingly wherever we look.
Whether absurdly ripped men with blindingly white smiles advertising their own range of resistance bands, or women posing perfectly in some exotic locale or another, extolling the virtues of detox tea that will wreak havoc in your stomach, it's hard to avoid body ideals in the 21st century.
One influencer had a plastic surgeon verify that her butt was 100% real:

That's why it's so important to remind ourselves of movements like the Grombre trend, which encourages people to embrace their gray hair, and the body positivity movement, which reminds us to embrace the skin we're in.
And celebrities are far from immune to the constant body-shaming and unrealistic beauty standards that are so pervasive in our modern society.
Jennifer Garner recently had the perfect response to someone who commented on her Instagram video to ask her if she was pregnant.
Garner responded wonderfully, writing, "I am 48, have 3 healthy kids, and am not—and never will be—pregnant. We can lay that pupper to rest. Have a gained the Covid 19? Possibly. But that is another story. [sic]"
Popular Instagram page comments by celebs spotted the comment, and captioned their own post, "Stop asking women if they’re pregnant 2020."

Fans in the comments section of the post leapt to Garner's defense.
"She does not look 48 or pregnant. 30 maybe.. not 48" one fan wrote, while another added, "Why is anyone EVER asking a complete stranger if they are pregnant? Like ever? Unless they are crowning and somehow have not noticed yet, you just mind ya business!"
A third commenter wrote, "Stop asking women are they pregnant or why they don’t have kids!!! It’s RUDE!! Damn.."
