Jennifer Lopez had an emotional video call with her daughter Emme and ex-husband Marc Anthony following reports she's split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez.

Taking to Instagram, the On The Floor hitmaker shared a screenshot of the heartbreaking call, during which 13-year-old Emma can be seen crying.

In the pic, Lopez, 51, offers a comforting smile to her daughter as the teen wraps her arm around her father, who reassuringly holds her hands.

Although the star didn't address rumors she has called off her wedding to Rodriguez, she revealed that her twins are "sad".

Captioning the snap, she wrote: "When they are sad but momma and daddy are there."

She adds: "I love you!! So proud of you..."

Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in 2017, with the former MLB player proposing in 2019.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple were forced to call off their wedding twice.

A source told PEOPLE that their breakup wasn't exactly a surprise to those close to them.

"This has been a long time coming," the source claimed. "They are tied in their business worlds so it's not a cut and dry breakup. It's taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all."

Yesterday, after news broke of the alleged split, Rodriguez posted a photo of himself on a boat.

"Don't mind me, just taking a sail-fie," he wrote. "What are your plans for the weekend?"

Lopez shares 13-year-old twins Maximilian "Max" David and Emme Maribel with Anthony, while Rodriguez shares daughters Ella, 12, and Natasha, 16, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. However, the couple had come together to co-parent all four children.

News of the split comes after Rodriguez was accused of having an affair with Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy.

In an interview with Page Six, LeCroy said that the two of them have "spoken on the phone" but that the communication was entirely "innocent".

She insisted that they have "never met up" and "never been physical … never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance."

However, a source told PEOPLE then that the pair had actually "never met." It's is not known whether the alleged breakup had anything to do with the recent rumors of infidelity.
