Jessica Simpson is marking the end of her thirties this week, and did so in some style as she celebrated the milestone by donning a pair of True Religion jeans that she's had in her closet for 14 years.
The singer and actress previously started the countdown to the end of her thirties last month, when she posted a picture of herself in an embellished black hat with a cowhide-print bikini. "YEE-HAW to my final days in my 30’s," she wrote on Instagram.

"I have kept these throwback True Religion jeans in my closet for 14 yrs (I’m not exaggerating!). I figured that since I’m in the final hours of my 30’s I’d give them another try, and hello 40, so nice to meet you," Simspon wrote on Instagram.
And fans were delighted with the snap. Along with the many well wishers bidding the singer and actress a happy birthday, one commenter wrote, "Awesome! You look fabulous 40 is the new 20s!"

Per PEOPLE, Simpson celebrated another important date this week - her wedding anniversary with husband Eric Johnson.
The couple celebrated six years together on Sunday night, with Jessica Simpson sharing a heartfelt tribute to her "perfect soulmate."
