Earlier today (November 6), the Associated Press reported that Joe Biden has taken lead in the state of Georgia amid the presidential race; a state that has historically been a Republican stronghold.
And to celebrate the achievement, John Legend, a vocal Democratic supporter, shared a video captioned: "Georgia on my mind" - a video that wife Chrissy Teigen says he had waited five hours to post.
In the video, Legend, who had performed at a Biden campaign rally on Monday, sings 'Georgia On My Mind'.

Naturally, soon after Legend posted the video on his social media, his wife Chrissy Teigen, who has a reputation for roasting her husband of seven years, responded to the post, writing: "He has been waiting to post this for 5 hours."

"It was one take tho [sic]," Legend wrote in response.

As is the case with households across the United States, the 2020 Presidential Election is a big topic in the Legend-Teigen household.
And as it turns out, even the pair's young children are taking part in the discussion.
In fact, Teigen recently posted a video of her and her four-year-old daughter Luna role-playing as a pair of news anchors.
But according to news anchor Luna, there was no news to report! None whatsoever.

"Hello, I'm Chrissy Teigen and we are in the news," the doting mom says.
"So Luna, what's in the news today?" to which Luna simply responds: "Nothing."
Teigen captioned the post: "She loves to pretend she's a news anchor and thinks there is no news. What a life that must be."
On Friday (November 6), it was reported by the AP that Biden was in the lead in the crucial state of Georgia by "just over 1000" votes out of the 4.9 million tallied and has also won a number of key swing states.

This paves the way for Biden potentially securing 270 electoral votes, the number of votes required to win the Electoral College, and therefore the presidential election.

Vote counting has been ongoing since polls closed on Election Night on November 3. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the number of mail-in votes this year has been unprecedented and as a result, votes are reportedly taking longer to count.
In fact, according to The New York Times, voters sent off almost 64 million mail-in ballots before Election Day.
